In baseball, they’d call it a “Big Inning.”

In just the past few weeks, there’s been a Murderer’s Row of announcements underscoring the sports bona fides of our Quickplay platform. We’re supporting the new YES Network app, MSG Networks’ upcoming MSG+ direct-to-consumer and TV Everywhere service, and Cignal TV’s yet-to-be-launched showcase for some of the biggest events in Asia-Pacific live sports.

In a sports television environment in which the future is uncertain, we’re helping teams, leagues and rights holders get their footing RIGHT NOW. We’ve scored the country’s two biggest regional sports networks, as well as a major aggregator of marquee sports properties. Not to mention our award-winning breakout partner, Sportsnet’s SN NOW, the Rogers Sports & Media-owned service that is Canada’s premier sports network.

Like the Yankees in their prime, we’re on a winning streak as we head towards a big event. In our case, it’s the NAB Show, the World Series equivalent for broadcasting and streaming in the Americas. We’ll be in the Encore Tower Suites, our home field when we’re in Las Vegas, showing off the technology punch that is helping our customers build winning gameplans.

We’re tackling two challenges the industry is facing: Regional sports networks (RSNs) are under intense pressure as consumers shift from traditional pay-TV packages to streaming, upending a decades-old business equation. RSNs need diversified revenue streams – augmenting pay-TV and TV Everywhere distribution  with direct-to-consumer delivery – and proven technology that enables rapid time-to-market, broadcast quality performance, and the agility to create new features that can engage and monetize audiences.

Larger aggregators of major sporting events require solutions that allow them to keep pace with a continual stream of new platforms, new consumer trends and new business opportunities. Growth means escaping the cost and complexity of multiple distribution infrastructures and migrating to a single architecture that can support all devices.

Our cloud-native platform enables sports rightsholders quickly and efficiently to come to market to adjust to changing needs. Our flexible, scalable, field-proven platform is helping us win deals because:

  • It supports traditional TV Everywhere and new direct-to-consumer services to every screen using a single, cloud-native platform.
  • It enables multiple business models, including subscriptions, ad-supported services, pay-per-view, and FAST – all using the same back end.
  • It allows you to control the product roadmap so services can quickly be tailored to specific audiences and be adapted to the inevitable marketplace change.

And it is ready to go. Now.

As in sports itself, results matter. Whether it’s RSNs building new D2C services or large global networks scrambling to achieve broad subscriber penetration, time-to-market and high performance are more important now than ever before.

Meet with us at NAB 2023 to learn what YES Network, MSG Network, Cignal  TV and Sportsnet already know: How our Quickplay platform can make your business a contender – TODAY.
